Our Natural History Programs are planned for college and university alumni groups, nature center members, and members of naturalist organizations. Participants from ages 7 to 77 will enjoy this very special and unique event. Most programs are one week long and each week is filled with adventure, discovery and camaraderie.
Our experienced naturalists lead daily excursions that provide fun, exciting and educational opportunities to explore the natural world. Afternoons are filled with a wide variety of optional activities such as crafts, games, fishing, hikes, mountain biking, horseback riding or free time. Evening activities include natural history discussions and slide shows, trips to view wildlife, and the opportunity to view the spectacular night sky through our 17.5” telescope.
In addition to first-rate accommodations and food, The Nature Place offers a wide array of supplementary activities and entertainment. There is also plenty of time for relaxing and enjoying the scenery as well as time to socialize with family and new friends.
To schedule a Natural History Program, group coordinators should contact us by phone or e-mail. We will help you customize your program to meet the specific needs of your group.
